Ole Miss currently in serious hosting consideration
The Diamond Rebs have yet another huge series this weekend against Georgia. The crowd’s are supposed to be terrific. I’m actually bringing one of my friends with me to the Friday game who happens to be a MSU fan, he stated he wanted to see some real college baseball in the state.
Can the Rebs post another series win and even increase their hosting chances even more? I personally see the Rebs winning two games out of three. I think Georgia battles Ole Miss hard for 7-8 innings but the Rebels get it done late on Friday, Georgia takes a close one from the Rebels on Saturday, and Bittle leads the Rebs to another Sunday victory and takes the series.
Getting a series win versus Georgia would be huge, considering RPI and on the borderline for hosting. Georgia currently looks like a national seed regional host, which will look amazing on our resume to take two from them.
